Marketing 180 ("M180," "we," "us") provides marketing services and a business intelligence platform for outdoor-services companies. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it the way we write everything else: plainly.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in four main ways:

Forms you submit. When you fill out a form on this site (contact, snapshot request, meeting request), we collect the information you provide: name, company, email, phone, industry, current software, and your message.
Calls. Calls to our tracking numbers and to numbers we manage for clients may be recorded, transcribed, and analyzed, including by AI systems, for quality assurance, lead scoring, and reporting. Where required by law, callers are notified of recording.
Analytics. Like most websites, we use analytics tools that collect device information, IP address, pages viewed, referring pages, and similar usage data via cookies and comparable technologies.
Client platform data. If your company is an M180 client, our platform processes business data you connect to it: customer records synced from your CRM or field-service software, job and quote data, ad-account performance data, call logs, and review data. We process this data to provide the services described in your agreement with us.

2. How we use information

• To respond to your inquiries and deliver requested materials (like a marketing snapshot).
• To provide, operate, and improve our services and platform for clients.
• To generate reporting, quotes, follow-up campaigns, and analytics on behalf of clients.
• To analyze calls for quality, training, and lead-quality scoring, including with AI tools.
• To communicate with you about services, updates, and, if you've opted in, marketing.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share information with

We share information with service providers who help us operate, under agreements that limit how they can use it. These currently include:

Google (analytics, advertising platforms, Local Services Ads)
Meta (advertising platforms)
HighLevel (CRM, communications, and automation infrastructure)
Supabase and Vercel (database and hosting infrastructure for our platform and websites)

We may also share information when required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your data until amended with notice).

For client platform data, we act on our clients' instructions. If you are a customer of one of our clients and have questions about their data practices, contact that company directly; we'll help route the request.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement (for example, knowing which ad or page led to a form submission). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some site features. Third parties like Google and Meta may set their own cookies subject to their own policies.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: form submissions and call recordings for as long as reasonably necessary for sales, service, and quality purposes; client platform data for the duration of the client relationship plus a reasonable wind-down period (and clients receive a full export on request; see our No-Hostage commitment in the Terms of Service). We then delete or de-identify it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you;
Correct inaccurate information;
Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
Opt out of marketing communications at any time (every email includes an unsubscribe link);
Object to or restrict certain processing, where applicable law provides.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@m180.net with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold: encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor agreements. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by law.

8. Children

Our services are for businesses. This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify clients directly. Continued use of the site or services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
